Registered devices

In Internet Banking you can now see a list of devices that you’ve logged in from.

This gives you knowledge and control over your devices, so that if something doesn’t look right you can fix it.

Selecting each device gives you options to manage the device, including changing device name (to something that’s easier to recognise), suspend a device (if you misplace your phone) or remove device (if your phone is lost or stolen).

What is a registered device

A registered device is any device where you have used the MyState Bank mobile app to login.

Why would I want to edit my registered devices?

  • Upgrading your phone – forgot to wipe your old phone before you gave it away? Log into internet banking and remove the old registered device to ensure that it can’t be used to access your account
  • Misplaced your phone – suspend your old registered device so no one can use it to access your accounts while you’re still looking for it
  • Still can’t find your phone – remove your old registered device so no one else can access your accounts
