Your offset account is a transaction account attached to your home loan. You can electronically transfer money between your offset account and other MyState Bank accounts as well as to external accounts. You can also withdraw money from your Visa Debit card via ATM and EFTPOS, any MyState Bank branch or Bank@Post.
Your offset account is listed under the Accounts tab in Internet and Mobile Banking. After you withdraw money from your offset account, your remaining balance will still be 100% offset against your linked home loan before the interest is calculated.
Offset accounts are only available on eligible home loans, if you’re unsure if you have or can have an offset account linked to your home loan get in touch with the Customer Care team on 138 001 or visit your closest branch.
