When will phone banking services be discontinued? #
Customers will no longer be able to access phone banking from 3pm AEST on 22 November 2024.
Why is MyState Bank phasing out phone banking? #
The service provider we use for our phone banking service has made the decision to stop supporting many financial institutions across Australia, including MyState Bank.
We have accepted all extensions available to us for the continuation of this service via our third -party provider, however they are unable to extend the service beyond this date.
How else can I pay my bills or do my banking? #
You can access our wide range of banking services including internet banking, our mobile app and Bank@Post. Our Customer Care team and branches are also able to assist you with any banking enquiries.
Fees may apply for using certain Bank@Post services. You can find more details about these fees here.
I don’t use a mobile phone or have the internet. What can I do? #
We understand this might be a big change to the way you’re used to banking with us. We’re here to help and we’ll work with you to make sure you’re comfortable with the other ways you can bank with us. You can chat to us over the phone or visit us in branch for personal, one-on-one support.
I’m not confident in setting up the app or using it. What should I do? #
Our friendly Customer Care and branch teams are here for to help. They’re available to support you with setting up for online banking and showing you how to use the app.

Put simply, phone banking is old technology. The app is faster, more secure and simple to use. You can easily check your account balances, pay bills, send and receive money using PayID, view statements, and manage your cards and more.
How do I register for internet banking or your mobile app? #
Registering is easy, it can be done online through our website or mobile app. Our Customer Care team are available over the phone to walk you through setting up this service, or you can visit us in branch for assistance.
How can I quickly check my account balance without phone banking? #
You can check your balance using internet banking or our mobile app, by calling us on 138 001 or visiting us in branch.
