How can I find out if my home loan repayments are changing?

< 1 min read

When loan interest rates change, customers will be sent two formal notifications as follows:

  1. The first notification is initial advice that loan interest rates are changing and the date the new interest rate will take effect.
  2. The second notification contains the new minimum repayment amount and the date the new minimum repayment amount takes effect. It is sent within a day or two of the interest rate change becoming effective and contains information about what you need to do to ensure your repayments remain up to date.

For customers who have opted into electronic statement notifications (this is separate to Marketing email preferences):

  • You will receive notifications by email.

For customers who receive statements by post:

  • You will receive your notifications in your mailbox or post box. Please allow up to five business days to arrive.

NOTE: It is important to keep your address details up to date with MyState Bank.

If you’re unsure or can’t find your notifications, we’re here to help, so you can find out by sending us a message via Internet Banking or contact our friendly Customer Care Team on 138 001 (within Australia) or +613 6233 0679 from outside Australia.
