MyState Foundation announces 2026/2027 grant and partnership recipients
The MyState Foundation has announced more than $195,000 in funding to support eight Tasmanian not-for-profit organisations helping young people build brighter futures through education, wellbeing and employment programs.
The funding includes five community grants and three major partnerships, providing both immediate support and longer-term investment in programs making a real difference in communities across Tasmania.
MyState Managing Director and CEO Brett Morgan said the funding reflected MyState’s deep connection to Tasmania and its 25-year commitment to investing in local communities.
"Through the MyState Foundation, we're proud to support programs that give young Tasmanians the confidence, support and practical opportunities they need to overcome barriers and build a stronger future."
This year, the Foundation welcomes Hamlet Inc and Karinya Youth Services as new major partners alongside existing partner Tassie Mums. Together, the three partnerships will focus on improving employment pathways, life skills, independence and support for vulnerable young Tasmanians and their families.
MyState Foundation Chair Bob Gordon said the quality of applications demonstrated the strength of Tasmania’s community sector and the importance of supporting organisations that have proven their ability to have impact.
"The organisations selected this year are addressing some of the most significant challenges facing young people today while creating opportunities for long-term success."
The announcement forms part of the Foundation's 25th anniversary celebrations. Since its establishment in 2001, the MyState Foundation has contributed more than $3 million to organisations supporting young Tasmanians to learn, grow and reach their full potential.
