Why am I seeing a Visa Provisioning Service transaction
Some customers may see a pending $0.00 Visa Provisioning Service transaction on their account. This is a legitimate verification transaction related to Visa Click to Pay enrolment and is used to validate eligible Visa Debit cards as part of the enrolment process.
Has money been taken from my account?
No. This is an authorisation-only transaction and no funds have been deducted from your account.
Does this mean my card has been compromised?
No. This transaction does not indicate fraud, unauthorised activity, or a problem with your card.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is required.
How long will the transaction remain on my account?
The transaction is temporary and will automatically expire and disappear from your account, typically within 3 to 7 days.
Am I the only customer seeing this?
No. This is expected behaviour during the Click to Pay enrolment process and may also be seen by customers of other financial institutions that have enrolled eligible cards in the service.
