Tony Reidy – Chairman

Tony is Executive Director of the Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation, and has been a credit union director for more than twenty years. He was elected Chairman of connectfinancial in December 2006, and was appointed Chairman of MyState Financial from 1 July 2007. Tony is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Mutuals’ Institute, and holds qualifications in company direction and superannuation management. He is also a Member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.

Colin Hollingsworth – Deputy Chairman

Colin has recently retired from his position as General Manager, Corporate Services, TAFE Tasmania. He is a former director of CPS Credit Union for 20 years, five of those as Chairman. Colin was Chairman of islandstate at the time of the merger with connectfinancial and was first appointed to the islandstate Board in 2000. Colin is currently a member of the MyState Financial Executive and Audit and Risk Committees.

Peter Armstrong – Director

BEc (Hons) DipEd DipFP CPA FAICD FAMI

Peter is Senior Manager, Vocational Education and Training, at Hobart College. Peter has held many senior positions with the credit union including six years as Chairman. Peter was Chairman of connectfinancial’s Audit and Risk Committee at the time of the merger. He is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Mutuals’ Institute. Peter is currently the Chairman of the MyState Financial’s Audit and Risk Committee, and a member of the Victoria/Tasmania regional council of the Australian Mutuals’ Institute.

Dianne Bowerman - Director

Retired. Dianne was an employee of islandstate for 11 years attaining the position of Special Projects Manager. Previously with insurer AAMI for more than twenty years, Dianne reached the position of Sales and Administration Manager, and she was first elected to the islandstate Board in 2002. Dianne was Deputy Chairman and a member of the islandstate Executive and Audit and Risk Committees and is currently the Chairman of the MyState Financial Governance Committee and a member of the Victoria/ Tasmania regional council of the Australian Mutuals’ Institute.

Bob Gordon – Director

BSc MIFA MAICD CPM FAMI

Bob is the Managing Director of Forestry Tasmania. He has been a credit union director for fourteen years, including six years as Chairman of connectfinancial. Bob is currently a member of the MyState Financial Executive and Audit and Risk Committees and until the date of the merger served as a director of the former Connect Community Foundation.

Tim Gourlay – Director

DipTeach TTC Grad Cert Mgmt MAICD Dip MAMI

Tim is a Manager, with the Department of Education and has been a credit union director for more than twenty years. He is the Chairman of the MyState Community Foundation. Tim is currently a member of the MyState Financial Governance Committee and is also MyState Financial’s representative with the Federation of Police Credit Unions.

Graeme Little - Director

Retired. Graeme spent thirty-six years in the brewing industry in Tasmania. Graeme was a Director of J. Boag & Son (1997-2000) and a former Manager of Boags (1988-2000) and Cascade (1982-1986) breweries. First elected to the islandstate Board in 2002 he was a member of the Executive and Audit and Risk Committees. Graeme is currently a member of the MyState Financial Executive and Audit and Risk Committees.
